During the second quarter of 2026, Elewit’s portfolio companies continued to achieve significant milestones related to power grid digitalization, increased grid capacity, and the strengthening of the innovation ecosystem, contributing to the key challenges of the energy transition.
One of the most relevant developments was the closing of a €4 million funding round by Oktogrid, led by Elewit and with participation from Inclimo, ABB y Delphinus Venture Capital, and other investors. The investment will accelerate the company’s international growth and the further development of its non-invasive monitoring technology and artificial intelligence solutions for the management of electrical transformers.
AssetCool also reached an important milestone with the inauguration of Terawatt-1, its new facility designed to support the development and large-scale deployment of its thermal metaphotonics technology. The new center incorporates advanced infrastructure for technology development, including robotic preparation and testing capabilities, as well as collaborative engineering and innovation spaces. Through this investment, the company is strengthening its ability to accelerate the implementation of solutions aimed at increasing the capacity and efficiency of power grids, at a time when energy infrastructure is facing growing demand driven by the energy transition.
Meanwhile, Splight was selected as one of the 24 finalists of the EPRI Incubatenergy Labs® 2026 Challenge, an international program that brings together some of the most innovative technologies in the electricity sector. As part of the program, the company will present its Dynamic Congestion Manager, a solution designed to increase the available capacity of transmission networks, improve grid reliability, and enable a more flexible and efficient operation of the power system.
Beyond the technological achievements of its portfolio companies, Elewit has also strengthened its role as a key driver of the innovation ecosystem. Coinciding with South Summit Madrid, Elewit and Suma Capital organized the Energy Transition Breakfast, an event that brought together startups, investors, and energy sector stakeholders to exchange experiences, foster new connections, and discuss the main challenges and opportunities associated with Spain’s energy transition.
These milestones reflect the continued evolution of Elewit'’'s portfolio in developing solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges facing the energy sector today.
